Want to stay somewhere nice in Lima that won’t break the bank? I’ve sorted through thousands of hotels, hostels, and apartments to find the best accommodation options available for the budget traveler. Each of the options below are in a central location in either Miraflores, Barranco, or the Historic District and most importantly offer spaces that are WELL-DESIGNED (which is surprisingly difficult to find on a budget in Lima). So, here are 10 cheap places to stay in Lima that are actually nice.

Selina

Latin America’s most trendy hostel chain, Selina, is opening in the upscale Miraflores district this September 2018. Staying at Selina means you’ll be in a space surrounded by local artwork, cool design, and great workspaces for digital nomads. Dorms start at $9 USD/night and private rooms go for $44 USD/night.

If you’re looking to stay in the historic district, the newly opened Orchid Hostels is by far the nicest budget option in the area. A bed in the dorm starts at a super cheap $8 USD/night or private rooms start at $23 USD/night.

Casa Nuestra is an affordable option if you are looking to stay in the Barranco neighborhood.
