Lima’s Barranco neighborhood has an array of cozy coffee shops & cafes that are perfect to spend a day working online, chatting with friends, or warming up during the chilly winter. When I am in Lima this bohemian neighborhood is where I love to stay and I try to spend a few days a week working at a cafe and bringing my dog Riley to get out of the house.

Here are some of my favorite cozy coffee shops in Lima’s Barranco neighborhood.

La Bodega Verde

La Bodega Verde has two locations: one near the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo and one closer to the main square of Barranco. Both are great to pass the time but I like the one near the square a little better. It has a great outdoor space and the indoor area is cozy with minimal decor. They also have tons of vegetarian options on their menu and it’s pet friendly.

Colonia is a stylish space with great food (lots of vegetarian options) and great lighting that I feel inspired to work in. The building also has a clothing boutique with items from Peruvian independent designers and an amazing ice cream shop. They are also pet-friendly.

Singular & Co

Singular & Co features a pet-friendly terrace with a beautiful view of the ocean. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee and a bite to eat with brunch served all day and an array of tasty desserts.

Felicia & Domingo

Felicia & Domingo has a gorgeous outdoor seating area that’s set in the garden of a classic Barranco home. They have lots of healthy food options plus delicious coffee and tea varieties to sip on.

Caleta Dolsa Coffee Co.

Caleta Dolsa is where you can have brunch all day and an amazing coffee to go with it. The wifi here is super fast for people that want to get a little work done and like most places in Barranco, they are pet friendly. While here, you must be sure to order the tostadas.

Dedalo has a beautiful inner courtyard that houses their café. This is also one of the best places to shop for locally made products from Peru.

Casa Lola

Casa Lola is where you’ll find fresh & delicious brunch-style food all day. The tostas are super recommended to order plus they have plenty of coffee and unique drink options.

Cipresso is set within a beautiful Barranco mansion surrounded by greenery. Overall a nice spot for a quick coffee break!
